SFP+ AOC are hot-pluggable cables used for 10Gb data transmission. The term “SFP” stands for Small Form Factor Pluggable, and utilizes a single transmit and single receive withing the SFP+ connectors. These cables utilize fiber wiring and are an ideal low-power option for applications up to 100 meters. SFP+ AOC are ideal for high-speed transmission in data centers, cloud computing, and hyper-scale transmission and are compliant with RoHS, IEEE, and SFP+ MSA standards.
