SFP optical transceivers are hot-pluggable modules used for 1Gb and 100Mb data transmission.  The term “SFP” stands for Small Form Factor Pluggable, and uses single transmit and receive signals.  These modules utilize the LC connector and are compliant with RoHS, IEEE, and SFP MSA standards.
